oh we all like to be beside the sea side!!

It's Sam here, It's another glorious day today, sun is streaming in through the window, I thought it about time the humans, got up and come bask in the sunshine with me!! so I whistled, wined and barked to get them humans out of bed and out on there poop patrol! Beast came down stairs with a cheery Mile High so off for walkie's we went. After breakfast and some considerable snoozing,
Mile high was discussing with boss about trip out, I wonder if this time this involves a car?
for I do enjoy a good car journey,

Boss was asking me if I wanted to go to the beach? Dumb question to ask a Devonshire dog, I did however, get extremely excited and almost I knocked over lesser human.

Beast was running laps around me, making me dizzy it totally wasn't my fault!!

So humans got ready and after a little assistance from mile high we where all packed into the car.

Beast was on top of me rehearsing her Irish jig and winging all the way there, I however, have mastered the art of car journeys. lay back close one's eye's and think about rabbits.

so we have arrived despite what beast thinks, she didn't die! but no matter how many times you assure her that Mile High isn't going to tie her to a tree or simply abandon her but take her for a fun adventure. we are now in a car park. that has many wee mails to sniff and replies to be made, while we wait for our good friend Scooby and his owner, she who really really must be obeyed, for I feel things go better that way, not that Scooby agrees and choose to challenge that title.( Not that I can talk I did sneak off. I feel responsible for a leading scooby astray, then the feeling quickly past)
so we are off to the beach, through a very pretty woods, boss was as slow as beast taking photo's
of the trees. she really does need to go to specsavers and get her eye's checked. she should be takings
photo's on me!

(Here I am chilling with scooby and Beast on the beach)

The beach wasn't what I expected, was all pebbly and not greyhound friendly at all. and the tide was coming in, But not being one to pass up on an opportunity to stretch ones legs I clambered up the steps and was off. I was straight in the sea for a paddle. I had a jolly good time. Boss loved watching me in the sea!

Beast how ever, was less brave and tried to trip the humans up! on the way home, boss stopped for refreshments. and we had a good snooze in the car...and I did need it, as its exhausting running around having so much fun!

I'm off for a snooze and to warm my paws up from the sea!! bye!!

check out my new jazzy bed! not a spoilt dog at all!!

p.s Beast here, Sam didn't mention he did nearly trip mile high up and she did nearly get taken by the sea, silly Sam. such a ponce!!
